Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting on behalf of an Aerospace company based in Reading, UK, contributing to the GCAP programme. The Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage the day-to-day AP/AR operations, ensure accurate postings, reconcile ledgers, and drive improvements across the transactional finance function.

You will support monthly closing, collaboration with the Treasury team, and engagement with suppliers and customers to maintain strong relationships while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable and basic bookkeeping.
• Excellent accuracy and ability to meet deadlines with strong numeracy.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Post payable invoices accurately and timely, reconcile AP sub-ledger with invoices.
• Process AR receipts and cash allocations, identify overdue accounts and assist with collections.
• Support month-end and year-end closings, prepare audit documentation.
• Propose process improvements through digitalisation and governance enhancements.
• Handle supplier and customer queries and assist Treasury with cashflow forecasts.
