Job summary

Morson Group, on behalf of an Aerospace company in Reading, seeks an Italian-speaking Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the GCAP JV by handling essential AP/AR activities and contributing to the early-stage setup of the function.

You will manage 3-way matching, GRNI reviews, and payment runs, while liaising with suppliers and customers. Proficiency in SAP/SAGE and Excel is preferred, with Italian or Japanese language skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• This role requires keen numerical accuracy and deadlines discipline.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
• Experience in AP, AR, or both and basic bookkeeping knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
• Italian or Japanese language ability is required or highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Post payable invoices accurately relating to AP, expenses, and prepaid items.
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger with supplier invoices and ensure GRNI accuracy.
• Prepare payment schedules and coordinate bank transfers with Treasury.
• Process Non-PO and ad-hoc payments and manage aged GRNI.
• Confirm incoming receipts, assist with AR balance reconciliations, and collect overdue payments.
• Support month-end and year-end close and drive process improvements.
