Job summary

Keeler Recruitment Ltd is seeking an AP & AR Manager in Lowestoft to lead transactional finance, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit control, and cashiering. You will manage a team, drive process improvements and ensure accurate cash flow management.

The role reports to the Regional Head of Finance, with responsibilities across invoicing, reconciliations, and service-level delivery with an international Shared Service Centre.

• Experience managing Credit Control and Cashiering functions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.
• Proven track record of process improvement and automation.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and accountability.
• Commercial mindset and understanding of how transactional finance impacts the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, setting objectives and priorities.
• Oversee credit control and ensure outstanding debts are collected efficiently.
• Manage customer invoicing, credit notes and supplier payments.
• Oversee cashiering activities, including receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage supplier account reconciliations and resolve supplier queries.
• Review aged debtor and creditor reports and take appropriate actions.
• Support working capital management through monitoring collections and commitments.
• Collaborate with international Shared Service Centre to maintain service levels.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and report performance to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to strengthen controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and audits.
