Sewell Wallis Limited in Glasgow is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator for a 12-month FTC, starting ASAP. You will process supplier payments, expenses, and manage the corporate credit card programme with a hybrid working policy.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in accounts payable, strong administration skills, and attention to detail. The role offers a £28,000 starting salary, a generous bonus scheme, and holiday provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience working within Accounts Payable for at least 2 years.
• Experience handling expenses.
• Attention to detail and strong administration skills.
• Experience in the professional services industry would be beneficial, although not essential.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile supplier payments, direct debits, and staff/partner expense claims.
• Reconciling payments, issuing remittance advice to suppliers, and coordinating with Cashiers on bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, resolve stakeholder and supplier queries, and ensure accurate allocation to matters.
• Administer the expense management system and map expense types in collaboration with Finance Systems, HR, and Tax teams.
• Manage the corporate credit card programme, reconciling monthly statements for 300+ users, ensuring data feeds are processed.
• Analyze unapproved/unprocessed/draft expense items and manage employee starters/leavers per policy.
• Liaise with external auditors on tax queries and assist with AP-related projects.
