Job summary

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is seeking a Finance / Accounts Payable Administrator to join its IT Finance team on a 6-month assignment. The role focuses on clearing a backlog, ensuring accurate supplier payments and supporting with reporting and process improvements.

Hybrid working pattern and a structured, detail-driven environment are offered. The ideal candidate will have either AP experience or recent finance/numerical study, with strong data entry, reconciliation, and communication

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or admin within finance.
• Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Comfort with backlogs and process improvement.
• Experience using purchase orders, invoicing and reconciliations is beneficial.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day Accounts Payable administration and processing.
• Input data into relevant systems accurately.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions when required.
• Monitor approvals to ensure timely invoice processing.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve missing Purchase Orders and issues.
• Assist with reporting and analysis and process improvements.
