Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited is seeking an experienced AOCS/GNC Engineer to focus on satellite projects within a UK team of 25. You will contribute to AOCS/GNC design, implementation and validation across Phases 0 to E, while collaborating with Rover teams and customers.

The role offers hybrid working, continual learning through extensive e-learning, and opportunities for progression into technical leadership or management paths.

Qualifications

• Professional or early careers experience with GNC/AOCS for Space Applications.
• Interest in learning more about GNC/AOCS and satellite design.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C, C++, or Python for software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, verify and validate AOCS/GNC algorithms for space missions.
• Develop prototype software and simulators in C/Matlab/Python.
• Produce design justifications and software requirement documents.
• Collaborate with rover teams and participate in customer reviews.
