Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage is seeking an experienced AOCS/GNC Engineer to contribute to satellite projects. You will design and implement AOCS/GNC algorithms, verify and validate systems, and produce detailed design documentation while collaborating with ESA and UK MOD teams.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with flexible hours, opportunities for development, and engagement across international programs.

Qualifications

• Professional or early careers experience with GNC/AOCS for Space Applications.
• Fascinated with learning more about GNC/AOCS.
• One of the following: Matlab, C, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects for ESA and UK MOD.
• Design, implement, verify and validate AOCS/GNC algorithms from Phases 0 to Utilisation.
• Produce design justifications and software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms and performance analysis.
• Develop prototype software (non/real time simulator) in C/Matlab/Python.
• Support reviews and workshops with customers, partners and stakeholders.
