Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to lead antimicrobial stewardship within a multidisciplinary setting. You will work across wards, collaborate with specialty teams, and contribute to education and service development.

Qualifications

• Must hold M. Pharm or equivalent and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Postgraduate certificate in clinical pharmacy or evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead pharmacy services and manage CPD.
• Experience in antimicrobial stewardship and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate the antimicrobial stewardship clinical pharmacy service.
• Collaborate with lead pharmacists and consultant microbiologists for stewardship programs.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support to isolation wards and ward rounds.
• Participate in audits, surveillance of antimicrobial usage, and report writing.
