Job summary

Operose Health is recruiting an experienced practice nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across our general practice. You will manage history taking, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, guiding patients through their care with a focus on safety and effectiveness.

You will work closely with the GP team, uphold policies, and provide leadership in clinical standards while pursuing opportunities for professional development and ACP progression within our network.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Experience in a primary care setting and minor injury/illness care.
• Ability to maintain and monitor standards of care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the practice team, support policy procedures, and provide nurse leadership as required.

Job description

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
