Job summary

Operose Health is seeking a qualified nurse to join our general practice team in the United Kingdom. You will deliver care from initial history taking through to diagnosis, treatment and evaluation, ensuring safe clinical decision-making and high standards of patient care.

Applicants should be an NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice, working toward non-medical prescriber status. A minor injuries/illness qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Minor injuries and illness qualification essential.
• Experience in a Primary Care setting preferred.
• ACCP/ACP pathway accreditation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the practice team to meet patient needs and support policy delivery, including nurse leadership as required.

Job description

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
