Job description

Here at Moorview Referrals, we are looking for a confident and friendly Animal Care Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave (12 months). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy referral centre with a variety of disciplines including: ECC, medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, and neurology.

Responsibilities will include patient handling, laboratory work, pharmacy work, theatre work, cleaning and packing instruments and equipment, assisting with hydrotherapy, and general cleaning.

About the hours

You will be working a rotating shift pattern with shifts starting from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm. There will be 1:4 weekends of 12-hour shifts, with time back in lieu.
