Job Opportunity: Complex Care Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, among others. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community and in their homes, with conditions like Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and many other complex needs. Every day presents new challenges, and your work will make a positive impact on your clients’ lives while helping you develop professionally.

Our paediatric clients (siblings) require support to live independently at home due to inherited conditions. Your responsibilities will include managing PEG feeds, medication, mobility, and maintaining airways. Experience in suction and airway management is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care, including PEG feeding and airway management, is essential. Experience working with children is also desirable. Nurse-led training will be provided.
