Job summary

Zego is seeking an Analytics Engineer to shape data models and governance with AI-assisted workflows. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable data products, focusing on modeling, testing, and observability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
• Solid SQL skills: reading, writing, debugging, and reviewing queries (AI-generated ones included).
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, AWS, GCP, Looker).
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Exposure to Python for data or analytics tasks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data models and exposures using AI-assisted workflows.
• Own testing, data contracts, and observability to ensure trustworthy data.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to align data work with business outcomes.
• Enable and maintain self-service capabilities within BI tools for business users.
