Job summary

Cedar is seeking an Analytics & BI Lead to shape and mature its analytics capability. This role goes beyond dashboards and requires challenging current approaches and embedding best practices in data usage for better decision making.

You will combine hands-on analytics with commercial insight, engaging senior stakeholders and translating requirements into effective analytical solutions while guiding the analytics roadmap for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant analytics/BI experience required.
• Deep hands-on Power BI expertise.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of analytics and BI approach.
• Review reporting and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Define and embed best practices across analytics, reporting, dashboards and data visualization.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Develop and improve KPI frameworks to measure what matters.
• Build insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Engage in data interrogation using SQL and other tools.
• Improve governance and consistency across reporting and analytics.
• Promote data-driven decision making within the business.
• Provide recommendations and challenge existing reporting requests.
• Remain hands-on while shaping longer-term analytics direction.
