Main Purpose of the Role

Support the delivery of Learning & Development programmes and initiatives for MUFG’s Global Corporate and Investment Banking division’s approximately 3,239 employees. Responsibilities include supporting the Tokyo-based GCIB Planning team with programme delivery, co-designing bespoke services, coaching, and executing global L&D strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics and communications for programmes
  • Coordinate application processes and liaise with HR partners
  • Organize meetings and monitor task completion
  • Act as first point of contact for queries
  • Manage relationships with external providers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure participant and presenter information is accurate and timely
  • Oversee programme costs and documentation
  • Support programme evaluation and feedback implementation

Specific Programmes

  • Manage the GCIB & Global Markets Academy and related activities
  • Coordinate nominations, biographies, and networking materials
  • Support logistics for in-person and virtual sessions in Japan

Other Responsibilities

  • Support global GCIB L&D needs, including training needs analysis and solution design
  • Undertake coaching certification if not already qualified
  • Design and launch e-learning modules and manage LMS administration
  • Manage vendor relationships and onboarding
  • Assist with global talent and HR initiatives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

MUFG offers flexible working options, including 2 days remote work per week.

Work Experience

  • Experience in L&D within HR
  • Programme project management experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services or professional services industries
