Job summary

ALS Coventry is seeking a Laboratory Analyst Grade 1 for the Inorganics team. The role focuses on accurate sample testing, adherence to procedures, data recording, and KPI delivery in a full-time, permanent position.

The candidate should be proactive, meticulous and capable of maintaining precise records while complying with safety policies and company standards. 37 hours/week, with some bank holiday coverage required.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs including Science, Maths and English are required.
  • A Level or equivalent in a scientific subject is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements.
  • Ensure samples are completed efficiently following procedures and legislation.
  • Deliver on KPIs and report analytical data.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform daily preventative maintenance.
  • Investigate NCW on the QMS and prioritise accordingly.
  • Train colleagues to required standards and support the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
