Job summary

ALS is seeking a highly motivated Analyst (Level 3) to join our committed team. You will complete sample analysis to required timescales, ensure samples meet the quality management system, and handle complex analytical techniques with confidence.

You will interpret and report analytical data, maintain service delivery against KPIs, and train colleagues to required standards in a collaborative environment. The role offers a full-time permanent contract with a salary of £26,878 per annum, 37 hours

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst (Level 3) to join our committed team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality analysis to support our operations. Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you'll have the opportunity to develop advanced analytical skills while contributing to our mission of excellence.

The position involves understanding and meeting customer requirements, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues (including preventive maintenance), investigating and reporting non-conformance incidents on the QMS, training colleagues to required standards, performing safe manual handling of chemicals and equipment, and adhering to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH Risk Assessments and PPE requirements.

About the Position

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16:30)

Contract: Full Time & Permanent

Annual Salary: £26,878 per annum

The Essentials

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
• Ideally, some laboratory experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and excellent IT skills.
