Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is placing an Anaesthetics Theatres Specialty Registrar in Birmingham, West Midlands. The role is full-time, long term, SpR grade with competitive rates and exposure to multiple surgical specialties.

You will administer anaesthesia, monitor patients during procedures, and manage pre- and post-operative assessments. You will work closely with consultant anaesthetists, contribute to ICU services, and engage in CPD and research activities.

Qualifications

• GMC registered as a physician in the UK.
• FRCA completed (full).
• Minimum 6 months NHS SpR experience.
• ALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective anaesthetic care in surgical/critical care settings.
• Administer anaesthesia and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-operative assessments and coordinate with consultants.
• Contribute to ICU services and supervise junior medical staff.
