Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Birmingham is seeking an Anaesthetics General Registrar to join our team in the West Midlands. The role covers delivering anaesthetic care across multiple surgical specialties, with pre-operative assessment, anaesthetic planning and supervision by a consultant.

You will monitor intraoperative patients, manage recovery, and contribute to teaching, audits, and MDT discussions, with opportunities to subspecialise and access CPD events.

Qualifications

• GMC registration to practice in the UK.
• FCRA Part 1 certification fulfilled.
• ALS certification held or in place.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties.
• Pre-operative assessment, anaesthetic planning and administration of general, regional or local anaesthesia.
• Intraoperative monitoring and post-operative recovery management.
