Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital is inviting applications for a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic (ODP). This permanent, full-time role is based in Brentwood with 37.5 hours per week and a negotiable salary dependent on experience.

You will be HCPC registered, bring perioperative expertise and lead theatre activities, supporting governance and delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative perioperative team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered with relevant perioperative qualifications.
• Post-registration experience as Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP).
• Commitment to high standards of perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise patient safety and encourage reporting of safety concerns.
• Promote a safe working environment complying with policies and procedures.
• Support governance activity under national standards and quality frameworks.
• Provide and lead care delivery, treating patients and families with dignity and compassion.
• Collaborate with clinicians across the hospital to enhance patient care.
• Take charge of a theatre, coordinating activities and leading junior staff.
