Job summary

The Sloane Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Theatre Practitioner to join the Anaesthetics team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a permanent contract with a salary up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Applicants should be registered nurses (NMC) or ODPs (HCPC) with theatre experience in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery. The post involves flexible shift patterns across the theatre schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) with theatre experience, scrub/anaesthetics/recovery.
• Demonstrates infection control, manual handling and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, maintain sterility and assist surgeon.
• Support anaesthetist with equipment, monitoring and airway management.
• Provide perioperative care and monitor vitals, pain and nausea; prepare patient for discharge.
