Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in Carlisle seeks a Clinical Support Worker to join the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Cumberland Infirmary. This Band 3 role is 24 hours per week, with a 12.5-hour shift pattern including weekdays, bank holidays and weekends.

You will work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering same-day emergency care to cardiology, respiratory, renal, gastro, elderly and frailty patients, with a push towards paperless documentation and safe

Qualifications

• Level 3 vocational qualification in health and/or care is required.
• National Care Certificate is required or in progress.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4–9 or equivalent qualification.
• Competency and experience of a range of care and related clinical or therapeutic procedures.
• Undertaken relevant additional training for Clinical Support Workers.
