Job summary

Executive Network Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer - AMR Champion to join a busy automotive manufacturing environment in Telford.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, with support from the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will maintain AMRs and support wider plant equipment.

Your role is to ensure reliable plant operation, minimise downtime and support production and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience fault-finding from electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to develop a multi-skilled maintenance skillset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure AMR and equipment availability meets departmental targets.
• Carry out root cause analysis on breakdowns and provide reports with improvements.
• Identify and implement improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Support planned preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and improvements.
• Provide technical support to internal customers and cover non-breakdown issues.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during maintenance.
• Maintain and improve equipment to support product quality.
• Attend training and work to company standards.
• Apply 5S within maintenance and factory.
• Travel overseas occasionally if required.
