Job summary

East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting a Make Ready Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at a Make Ready centre. You will oversee the team and ensure ambulances, equipment and consumables are prepared for duty across six counties.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (C1 preferred within 12 months), basic IT skills, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Excellent communication and rostering capabilities are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• English and Maths GCSEs level 4 or equivalent with NVQ level 3 or relevant experience.
• Full Manual UK Driving Licence (max 6 points).
• C1 Category or commitment to attaining C1 within 12 months.
• RFID/Telematics course within 6 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and performance of a Make Ready centre.
• Assist Group Leads in staff training, development and discipline.
• Prepare ambulances and maintain stock/equipment records.
• Arrange rotas to maintain staffing and liaise with internal/external contacts.
• Ensure compliance with pre-employment checks and operational standards.
