Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking an NHS Ambulance Make Ready Operative at Farnborough. You will prepare ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to approved standards, including deep cleaning to infection control standards.

You will test equipment, replace packs and ensure bags are repacked and ready for use, with full training provided. DBS clearance and a C1 Licence are required for this role, maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance and C1 Licence are required for this role.
• Full training will be provided on site to ensure infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to approved standards.
• Test all medical equipment deployed on Trust vehicles for fit and function.
• Replace used or broken Make Ready packs and repack and seal response bags.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and workplace safety.
