Job summary

Churchill Group in Banstead is seeking an NHS Ambulance Make Ready Operative (C1 Required). You will prepare ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to approved infection-control standards, including deep cleaning.

You will handle testing of medical equipment on Trust vehicles and replace used or broken Make Ready packs. The role offers a flexible contract with 0 hours per week, on-site work in SECAMB – Banstead.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance and a C1 Licence are required for this role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with attention to infection control.
• Good teamwork and reliability in a facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to approved infection-control standards.
• Test medical equipment deployed on Trust vehicles and replace used or broken Make Ready packs.
• Ensure sealed repacked bags are ready for use and keep work areas clean and safe.
