Job summary

This Band 8A role influences quality and safety across NWAS footprint, partnering with internal and external providers to ensure high-quality urgent and emergency care.

The post holder will apply governance, performance data and audits to drive service improvement, lead complex system changes, and promote patient safety across the organisation.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Paramedic with significant leadership experience.
• Experience implementing clinical governance arrangements.
• Experience using performance data, audits and quality improvement.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners and lead change.

Responsibilities

• Influence the quality, safety and effectiveness of care provided by third party ambulance providers.
• Lead clinical governance and robust assurance to improve urgent and emergency care.
