Job summary

EMED Group is seeking a dedicated Ambulance Care Assistant to join our Burton, Staffordshire team on a full-time basis. You will transport elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to medical appointments and between facilities, sometimes in two-person crews, ensuring safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Good level of physical fitness for patient handling.
• Enhanced DBS check (company funded) and patient care commitment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to medical appointments and between facilities.
• Assist with lifting and transferring patients in and out of the Ambulance.
• Ensure safe, clean ambulance and hand over patients to staff on arrival.
