Job summary

Wellocks, part of the William Jackson Food Group, seeks a Day Warehouse Supervisor (Ambient) to lead the ambient warehouse team and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will drive stock rotation, quality checks and handovers to the night shift while maintaining health, hygiene and food safety standards.

You will develop your team through training, appraisals and clear development plans, fostering a respectful and accountable work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• IOSH certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of KPIs and MS Office (Word/Excel) and Dynamics 365 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and product quality standards are consistently met.
• Manage stock rotation using FIFO principles; conduct daily stock checks and reconciliations.
• Optimise stock availability and handover to night shift via efficient stock control.
• Develop and deliver mandatory training; conduct daily team briefs to align all team members.
