Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Leicester is seeking a Press Brake Setter to join a growing fabrication team. You will set up Amada press brakes, perform tooling changes, and program at the machine to create and adjust bend sequences.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working across varied batch sizes, performing in‑process quality checks, and collaborating with the fabrication team to hit daily targets. Day shift, £15.00 per hour, skill-dependent.

Qualifications

• Experience with Amada press brakes.
• Ability to complete full machine setup independently.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Background in sheet metal or fabrication.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Setting up Amada press brakes including tooling changes and first-off checks.
• Programming at the machine to create and adjust bend sequences.
• Reading engineering drawings to produce accurate sheet metal components.
• Running production across varied batch sizes depending on customer orders.
• Carrying out in-process quality checks (final sign-off by supervisor).
• Working closely with the fabrication team to meet daily targets.
