Job summary

Involve Recruitment seeks an experienced AMADA Laser Operator to join a busy sheet metal fabrication team in Dudley. The role involves operating and setting the AMADA laser, loading material, selecting programmes, and performing basic maintenance.

You will work on a split day and afternoon shift with a genuine path to permanent employment. Candidates should have CNC laser experience, be able to read drawings, and carry out quality checks on finished parts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser cutting machinery, and reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to set up and run AMADA laser programs.
• Experience in a sheet metal or fabrication environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set AMADA laser cutting machine within a busy sheet metal environment.
• Load and unload sheet material and select/run programmes.
• Make machine adjustments, monitor cutting process and check finished components for quality.
