Job summary

THOMAS Professional seeks an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for a busy engineering and manufacturing facility in Stonehouse, UK. The role focuses on accurate forming and bending of sheet metal to tight specifications, using Amada machinery and reading engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Amada press brake background, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely within a team.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Press Brake operator with strong Amada background.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in setting up tooling and measuring to tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada CNC Press Brake machinery to form and bend components.
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and bend sequences.
• Select and use appropriate tooling and set machine parameters.
• Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Measure finished components with inspection equipment and ensure specs.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues with a proactive approach.
