Job summary

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd in Pershore is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up and run Amada Brake Press machinery in a fast-paced folding area. You will ensure safety, accuracy and timely production of parts to drawings and instructions on a full-time, on-site basis.

The role requires at least 1 year of Amada Brake Press experience, tolerance verification using verniers, and the ability to load/unload material. Strong teamwork and learning aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating Amada Brake Press.
• Minimum 1 year experience of forming various sizes & thickness of blanks.
• Ability to measure each job using Vernier's.
• Ability to load and unload material.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies.

Responsibilities

• All set-ups and production runs, ensuring safety, accuracy and timelines of all jobs, machines and equipment in the folding area.
• The role will be to set and operate a Brake Press (Amada) to produce parts to technical drawings and instructions
• Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine
• Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations
• Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed
