Job summary

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator for a long-term role in Hixon, Staffordshire. You will work with Amada press machinery, perform manual folding of items up to 10mm thick and 4m wide, and measure products to ensure quality finishes.

The ideal candidate has experience with Amada presses or other press brake machinery, reads engineering drawings, and can use measuring tools with good English skills. Own transport is essential for site access.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an Amada press is preferred; other press brake experience accepted.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous.
• Ability to use measuring tools is required.
• Good English (reading and spoken) required.
• Own transport is essential for site access.

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada press machinery according to job order.
• Manually fold items up to 10mm thick and up to 4m wide.
• Measure products to ensure quality finish.
• Set machine parameters for each job.
• Manual handling and movement of stock.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards.
