Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Brackmills, Northampton, to support the management team with day-to-day warehouse operations. You will lead a team of operators, coordinate workloads, and ensure delivery on time in full while maintaining safety and quality.

• Proven management or supervisory experience within a warehouse.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and effective time management.
• Attention to detail.
• IT literate in Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving.
• Understanding of CargoWrite is desired, training can be given

Responsibilities

• Support the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
• Responsible for a team of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets
• Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads and supporting performance improvements
• Monitor issues and ensure production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are achieved
• Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and safety culture
• Oversee running of the contract in a customer service capacity
• Meet the customer’s operational requirements and ensure on-time deliveries
• Provide first line support for customer and DSV to proactively handle issues
• Populate and maintain location KPI data and reports
• Handle customer invoicing processes.
