Job summary

Pangbourne College is seeking an Alumni Engagement Assistant to join our Development and Community team. You will reconnect with former pupils via friendly telephone conversations, build relationships within the Pangbourne community and help keep alumni records accurate and up to date.

This fixed-term role (12 weeks, 24 hours per week) focuses on supporting fundraising activity and encouraging alumni involvement in the Transforming Futures programme, while upholding the College’s values and

Friendly, confident and engaging person with a clear telephone manner.
Ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of people.
Comfortable holding conversations on the telephone and building rapport.

Responsibilities

Reconnect with alumni through friendly and engaging telephone conversations.
Build positive relationships with former pupils and the wider Pangbourne community.
Identify opportunities to engage alumni and encourage involvement.
Keep the alumni database accurate with up-to-date contact details.
Discuss the Transforming Futures programme and how alumni can support the College.
Document conversations with a high level of attention to detail.
Maintain strong, lasting relationships with our alumni community.
