Job summary

Euroclear is expanding its Alternatives Funds business in the UK and Nordics and seeks a Senior Business Development Manager based in London to accelerate growth across these regions.

You will own complex opportunities, work with fund managers and distributors, and manage long sales cycles with autonomy. This senior, individual-contributor role requires strong relationship building and industry credibility in alternative investments. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or client-facing roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on alternative investments.
• Proven ability to sell complex infrastructure or asset servicing solutions with long decision cycles in a B2B environment.
• Strong knowledge of the alternative fund ecosystem, including fund managers/GPs, wealth management channels, private banking, and investment platforms.
• Structured sales methodologies and use of CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting and client interactions.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills and the ability to adapt style across senior executives, fund operations and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and develop complex opportunities within Alternatives Funds Distribution in line with Euroclear’s growth strategy.
• Lead opportunities end-to-end with full autonomy and accountability for recommendations to senior management.
• Drive growth across the UK and Nordic markets, engaging fund managers and distributors to access alternatives.
• Manage long and complex sales cycles across multiple stakeholders in client organizations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, prospects and industry stakeholders and collaborate with product, operations and technology teams.
