Job summary

Euroclear is expanding its Funds Distribution business in the UK and seeks a senior Business Development Manager based in London to accelerate growth across retail platforms, wealth managers and intermediaries investing in funds. You will own complex opportunities end-to-end, leveraging warm leads and Euroclear relationships to drive long-term, consultative sales in sophisticated client environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or client-facing roles within the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to sell complex solutions with long decision cycles in a B2B environment.
• Knowledge of funds, wealth management, investment platforms or related ecosystems.
• Proven discipline in applying structured sales methodologies and using CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting and client interactions.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with adaptability across senior executives and operational teams.
• London-based, travel within the UK and occasional Europe.
• Experience with UK retail investment platforms and/or wealth managers.
• Exposure to international or cross-border business development.
• Interest in market innovation and the future of funds distribution.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and develop complex business opportunities within Funds Distribution, aligned with Euroclear’s strategy.
• Lead opportunities end-to-end with ownership of the client pipeline and autonomous recommendations to senior management.
• Drive UK market growth across retail platforms, wealth managers, custodians and asset owners.
• Manage long, complex sales cycles with multi-stakeholder engagement across client organisations.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, prospects and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Euroclear with relationship managers, product, operations and technology teams to deliver solutions.
• Represent Euroclear externally, including participation in industry forums and targeted market discussions.
• Contribute to thought leadership by validating market trends through dialogues with clients and partners.
