Job summary

Heartwood Learning Trust in Hull is seeking an Alternative Provision Tutor/Teaching Assistant to support teaching, learning and pastoral care for individuals and small groups under supervision. The role involves working closely with teachers to follow the learning plan and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

You will collaborate with the Head of Key Stage and teaching staff to monitor progress, adapt activities, and promote student well-being.

Alternative Provision Tutor/ Teaching Assistant

Salary: £22,278.76 to £22,990.38 a year, pro rata

This role will work with teachers to provide teaching, learning and pastoral support by working with individuals or small groups of students under the direction of Head of Key Stage/teaching staff/Higher Level Teaching Assistant and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.
