Legal & General (L&G) invites applications for an ALM Analyst to support the weekly ALM MI process and ad hoc ALM requests within Institutional Retirement Finance. Cardiff-based role with some travel to London.
You will check outputs for reasonableness, prepare concise analysis, and contribute to automation and reporting improvements, partnering with cross‑functional teams across investments, risk and pensions.
Competenze
- Experience delivering recurring analytical outputs under deadlines.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to check results for reasonableness and escalate issues.
- Troubleshooting approach to process problems.
- Comfort working with code, models or automated workflows.
- Clear communication across specialist teams.

- Run the regular weekly ALM MI process and respond to daily/ad hoc ALM requests.
- Check outputs for reasonableness and escalate unusual results.
- Prepare concise analysis and commentary on key movements.
- Support what-if analysis for trades, new assets and schemes.
- Maintain reporting controls, methodology and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot data, model and process issues with senior support.
- Contribute to automation and technology-enabled reporting improvements.
