Job summary

City West Country Limited is recruiting an Alloy Wheel Technician for Mercedes-Benz of Exeter. The role involves on-site and mobile alloy wheel refurbishment and SMART repairs, with a focus on high-quality finishes and safety. Monday to Friday, Exeter location, salary up to £39,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or SMART repair is required.
• Ability to assess cosmetic damage and select a safe, suitable repair method.
• Knowledge of paint preparation, colour matching and finishing techniques.
• Full UK driving licence is required to move vehicles on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out alloy wheel refurbishment and SMART repairs including preparation, sanding, filling, priming and finishing.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Prepare, mask and protect vehicles to ensure high-quality repairs and prevent damage.
• Maintain documentation, quality checks, and proper invoicing information.
• Collaborate with dealership teams for vehicle turnaround targets and operate mobile repair van when needed.
