Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting on behalf of a busy refurbishment team for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician. You will repair alloys to a high standard across makes and models, using powder coating and other finishes, ensuring accuracy and quality.

You will work with cutting-edge equipment and meet workshop targets. This role requires hands-on experience in alloy repair, powder coating, aqua blasting and diamond-cut finishes, plus a clean UK driving licence and the ability to work at a fast pace

Qualifications

• Experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a bodyshop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration, with powder-coating and diamond-cut alloy repair experience.
• Ability to work to a high standard and meet workshop timeframes.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Repair scratches, scuffs and dents on alloy wheels to a high standard.
• Spray painting and powder-coating all alloy wheels.
• Refurbish wheels using aqua blasting, sand blasting and chemical paint stripping.
• Maintain high quality within agreed workshop timeframes.

My client is looking for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join our busy and experienced refurbishment team. This state-of-the-art facility offers a great opportunity for a detailed and driven individual to join a reputable company and develop a career in this exciting specialist enterprise.

What you’ll be doing

As an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Alloy wheel repairs to the highest standard. This will include repairs to all makes and models of alloy wheels and a wide array of finishes, damage will include scratches, scuffs, dents. You will prioritise according to business needs and carry out work using cutting edge equipment and techniques and ensuring the process is completed to an exceptional high standard.

Responsibilities

• To repair scratches, scuffs and dents, on alloy wheels of all make model and styles
• Spray painting & Powder-coating all makes and models of Alloys
• To refurbish alloy wheels, by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labelling and alloy identification
• To have the ability to work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes

Your experience/skills

• To have experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar Bodyshop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration and have powder-coating and Diamond cut alloy repair experience
• To enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard
• To have physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work
• To have a valid, clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary and Hours

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
