Job summary

BridgeValley Community and Technical College is seeking a 9-month, full-time faculty member to support the Allied Health program and provide high-quality instruction in foundational and program-specific courses.

The role includes teaching 15 credit hours per semester, advising students, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to program and institutional initiatives. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or allied health field.
• Current national phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience teaching in higher education or healthcare settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and external partners.
• Support outcomes-based education and institutional assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in traditional and online formats.
• Supervise lab and skills-based instructional activities.
• Instruct phlebotomy techniques and safety procedures.
• Advise students and participate in curriculum development.
• Coordinate or evaluate clinical/field placements.
• Participate in department and faculty meetings.
• Contribute to curriculum design and assessment.
