Job summary

Copello is seeking an Algorithm Specialist to contribute to advanced engineering systems across the full product lifecycle. You will develop algorithms for guidance, control, navigation, tracking, data fusion and mission planning, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will apply mathematical and engineering principles, conduct research, testing and validation, and explore new technologies to improve system performance. A postulated security clearance (SC) is required.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience in a mathematically focused discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms across areas such as guidance, control, navigation, tracking, data fusion and mission planning.
• Support algorithm research, development, testing and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing support of complex engineering systems.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including software, simulation, modelling, sensors and systems engineering.
• Apply mathematical and engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.
• Explore new technologies and approaches to improve system performance.
