Job summary

MBDA UK is looking for an Algorithm Specialist in the GCN domain to drive the development of sophisticated guidance, control and navigation algorithms across the full life cycle of weapon systems. You will work with colleagues in Simulation, Modelling, Image Processing, Software, and Hardware-in-the-Loop teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a mathematical content subject; strong academic background essential.
• Post-Doctoral or industrial experience is a strong advantage.
• Domain knowledge in Flight Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Sensors, Servo Systems, Autonomous Systems or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced GCN algorithms across concept to in-service life cycle.
• Collaborate with Simulation, Modelling, Image Processing, Software and Systems teams.
• Deliver innovative control, navigation, guidance, tracking and data fusion solutions.
