An established charity is seeking an Alcohol Recovery Coordinator to join their dedicated team. This role involves managing care plans and supporting clients through their recovery journeys. Waythrough, launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship, aims to break down barriers preventing people from accessing support to live fulfilling lives. We address poverty and disadvantage through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related services.
We operate nearly 200 services across England, supported by approximately 3,500 staff and volunteers, helping around 125,000 people annually.
As we integrate our systems and processes following the merger, some branding may still reflect 'Humankind'. Our recruitment systems are also in the process of full integration.
Location: Seven Sisters Road N15 6HR
Type: Full Time, Permanent. Note: The clinic has one late opening weekly; staff work on a rota basis to accommodate this.
Within Haringey Alcohol and Recovery Service (HAGA), you will be responsible for care planning, risk assessment, and case management for clients with multiple needs, including mental health issues, physical health problems, and re-offending behaviors.
Your duties will include needs assessment, delivering psychosocial interventions, group work, and liaising with partner organizations for comprehensive support. You will support clients' goals in alcohol treatment, which may involve controlled use, abstinence, or residential treatment. Proficiency with case management systems for accurate data recording and active listening skills are essential, along with previous client-facing experience.
