Job summary

IC Resources is assisting a space engineering organisation with a Farnborough-based AIT Test Technician role. The incumbent will support day-to-day lab setup, equipment configuration and maintenance, ensuring a well-organised electronics laboratory for engineering and verification activities.

The position requires hands-on experience with soldering, PCB rework and hardware troubleshooting, plus maintaining calibration records and lab safety standards (ESD).

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in electronics or related discipline required.
• Experience in electronics lab environment and handling lab equipment preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise the electronics laboratory for daily activities.
• Set up and configure lab equipment for engineering and verification tasks.
• Maintain test benches, cables, fixtures and associated hardware.
