Job summary

Skyborne is seeking an experienced Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager to ensure the fleet remains airworthy and compliant. The role coordinates daily airworthiness activity, maintenance planning, and technical records while liaising with operations and providers.

Based onsite at Gloucestershire Airport, the post supports audits and revisions to airworthiness programmes and may deputise for the CAMO Manager when authorized.

Qualifications

• Experience in continuing airworthiness and maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of UK Part-ML and Part-CAO requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply airworthiness directives and regulatory publications.
• Experience coordinating maintenance, defects and records with safety and compliance considerations.
• Supervisory experience and ability to develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with UK Part-ML, Part-CAO, Exposition and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance forecasting to achieve fleet availability with minimal downtime.
• Monitor aircraft hours, calendar requirements, and maintenance due dates.
• Manage airworthiness directives, service bulletins and mandatory information.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations and maintenance providers for servicing and return to service.
• Review status of defects and risks, escalating as needed.
• Ensure airworthiness records and release documentation are complete and traceable.
• Assist with revisions to Exposition and maintenance programmes; support audits and corrective actions.
• Deputise for Continuing Airworthiness Manager when authorised.
