Job summary

CHC Helicopter in Aberdeen seeks an experienced Continuing Airworthiness leader to join the UK Leadership Team as CAMO Manager. You will lead the CAMO organisation, be the Nominated Person for Continuing Airworthiness for the Scotia AOC, and work with UK CAA to uphold the highest airworthiness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in aviation or relevant engineering discipline.
• UK CAA/EASA Part 66 licence or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience coaching and developing a technical team.
• Experience in continuing airworthiness, technical services or quality management.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
• Ability to manage regulatory interactions and audits.

Responsibilities

• Act as Nominated Person for Continuing Airworthiness and ensure compliance with UK CAA regulations.
• Lead the CAMO team and manage continuing airworthiness activities, including subcontracted tasks.
• Drive safety, airworthiness, reliability and performance of the fleet.
• Oversee analysis of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Manage review and development of maintenance programmes and reliability data.
• Provide airworthiness engineering decisions in liaison with stakeholders.
• Maintain fleet configuration control and support standardisation across the fleet.
• Respond to technical queries and HUMS-related issues.
• Coordinate with OEMs and design organisations for modifications.
• Host UK CAA visits, audits and inspections; manage Change activity.
• Drive continuous improvement in CAMO processes and procedures.
