Job summary

CHC Helicopter in Aberdeen seeks a Continuing Airworthiness leader to join our UK Leadership Team as CAMO Manager. This senior role combines regulatory leadership with strategic management of continuing airworthiness across the Scotia AOC.

Reporting to the Accountable Manager, you will lead the Aberdeen CAMO team, act as Nominated Person, drive safety, compliance and fleet performance, and collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Part 145, OEMs and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in aviation or relevant engineering, or UK CAA/EASA Part 66 licence.
• Leadership experience with technical teams and regulatory familiarity.
• Experience in base or line maintenance with certifying responsibilities.
• Experience in continuing airworthiness, technical services or quality management.
• Strong understanding of UK/EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead change in a complex operational environment.
• Experience with aviation ERP systems (AMOS, SAP, IFS or Rusada) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Nominated Person for Continuing Airworthiness for Scotia AOC and ensure compliance with UK CAA regulations.
• Lead the CAMO team and manage continuing airworthiness activities including subcontracted work.
• Drive safety, airworthiness, reliability and fleet performance.
• Oversee reviews of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and related regulatory instructions.
• Develop aircraft maintenance programmes and analyze reliability data.
• Provide airworthiness engineering decisions with Maintenance Planning and external partners.
• Maintain fleet configuration control and ensure standardisation and compliance.
• Coordinate UK CAA visits, audits and inspections and manage Change activity.
• Develop the CAMO team through coaching and mentoring.
